We're looking for a self-starter, to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments, in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity and communications.

We're looking to fill this role with someone who currently has the load balancer experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large environments, is flexible and enjoys tackling challenges, and desires to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER SR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Design, implement, and manage F5 solutions with a focus on LTM and APM

  • Maintains the integrity and security of multiple network devices to include but not limited to: Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto Panorama, FortiGate Firewalls, F5 Big IP, F5 Big IQ

  • Create, maintain, and update documentation (diagrams, user guides, and SOPs)

  • Supports and develops automation

  • Maintains/enhances knowledge of network technology (Cisco / Palo Alto / Fortinet / F5)

  • Monitors and improves existing and new deployments

  • Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts

  • Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues

  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

  • Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed

Requirements

Load Balancing,Network Engineering,Networks, 5 + years of related experience, + Required Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on F5 Load Balancers (LTM and APM)

  • Required Technical Skills: Networking (Load Balancing, Routing, Firewall, and Switching)

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization.

  • Required Exposure to or Ability to Learn: Palo Alto - Next Gen Firewalls and Cisco Data Center Technologies.

Benefits & conditions

The likely salary range for this position is $86,700 - $117,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
