Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and technical Supplier Software Delivery Technical Lead to lead the functional coordination of supplier software deliveries for Powertrain Control Modules. This role sits at the intersection of technical requirements, delivery planning, and budget management. You will be responsible for ensuring that Low-Level Drivers (LLD) are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications across multiple program variants., 1. Software Delivery & Coordination

  • Lead the functional coordination of supplier software deliveries (LLDs) for all Bosch-related projects.

  • Manage the end-to-end receipt of software deliveries, ensuring a full understanding of program requirements, module variants, and their relationships to LLDs.

  • Prioritize deliveries and coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure all LLDs reach their respective programs on schedule.

  1. Change & Requirements Management
  • Manage the Design Change Request (DCR) process, including the authoring and tracking of DCRs.

  • Coordinate functional specification updates and Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents to align with ongoing LLD delivery cycles.

  1. Budget & Financial Oversight
  • Lead budget tracking and management for supplier software deliveries.

  • Monitor planned versus actual spending to ensure the project remains at or under the approved "Team Size Agreement" budget.

  • Partner with Business Leads to account for current and future delivery needs and ensure fiscal alignment.

  1. Testing, Validation & Quality
  • Coordinate Supplier Acceptance Testing to validate each new delivery of LLDs.

  • Develop and implement evaluation criteria to determine necessary testing levels based on the scope of change provided by the supplier.

  • Own the LLD issue management and tracking process to ensure all defects are identified, documented, and resolved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • 3+ years working with C programming language

  • 3+ years working with powertrain embedded control software.

  • 2-3 years of experience with software variant management.

  • 3-5 years working within the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Project Management:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software project coordination, delivery management, or a similar function

  • 3-5 years managing delivery timelines, prioritizing tasks, and supporting multi-program coordination.

  • 2-3 years managing supplier relationships. Financial Acumen:

  • 1-2 years tracking or supporting project budgets. Tools & Documentation:

  • 2-3 years writing Design Change Requests (DCRs) and updating Software Requirements Specifications (SRS). Quality Assurance:

  • 2-3 years coordinating software testing activities and developing evaluation criteria. Preferred Skills

  • 2-3 years of cross-functional communication experience with business leads and external suppliers.

This position is a salary grade 7 to 8 and ranges from $84,480-162,120.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
