The position focuses on administering, monitoring, tuning, securing, and recovering Oracle databases; supporting integrated database design, logical and physical data modeling, data integrity, disaster recovery, and accessibility-compliant database interfaces; and collaborating with developers, analysts, and users to implement database changes and performance improvements.
In this specific role, the candidate will serve as a Senior Operational Oracle DBA responsible for stabilizing and scaling mission-critical environments that support multiple concurrent ERP implementations and upgrades, leading Oracle 19c to 23ai database upgrades, maintaining ETL-supporting environments, handling Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, addressing security vulnerabilities, and performing performance tuning, with the flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed in a primarily remote setting.
Infrastructure management with Oracle 19c version or higher

This role is for a senior-level Oracle DBA with 8+ years of experience who can independently manage complex database environments, maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure systems, and ensure compliance with security and foreign ownership regulations., * High-availability (GoldenGate, Active Data Guard)
Advanced scripting (Linux, SQL)
Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
Experience working with a hosting vendor
Experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft products
