Job description
As a Data Analyst BI, you will play a critical role in working with our internal clients to understand their business needs, analyze requirements and translate them into added value reporting or analytics specifications. You will work closely with the data engineers, data governance lead, other data analysts & internal clients to ensure that the solutions meet the expected business goals. More specifically, you :

You will transform data into actionable insights and reporting that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization

Gather and understand stakeholders' requirements and document the ambition and added-value of the request for Fednot, the notaries and or the citizens; you manage stakeholders through setting realistic expectations, maintaining clear feedback and ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals;

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring business demand is in alignment with strategic directions and there is a clear understanding on project objectives;

Identify and understand the data models and business processes of our source domains;

Identify, document and evaluate the solutions to be implemented and define acceptance criteria ;

Create clear reports/dashboards that identify consistent trends and propose actionable insights;

Plan and coordinate the delivery of solutions with the various parties involved (Data Engineers, architects, data governance lead, DBA, DPO, Business stakeholders or external dependencies) and keep track of project progress;

Perform in-depth process analysis and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency;

Support the Product Owners/Managers in the development of a vision and the evolution of data products
Requirements
- You hold a Master degree and have experience as Business Analyst, Functional analyst or as member of a Data/BI/AI Team
- You have a background in data analysis or statistics, or a strong affinity with these fields.
- At least 1 year of professional experience
- You have a basic knowledge of SQL with which you can perform simple analyses in a big data environment
- You have experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Tableau or DataStudio.
- You take ownership for your actions
- You are insisting on the highest standards and are quality and results driven
- You have a strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- A very flexible and proactive approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness
- Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch with strong verbal and written communication skills
