Job description
As a Software Engineering Intern (Frontend), you will contribute to building engaging, user-friendly digital experiences for Odido's customers and internal users. Whether you're interested in UI/UX development, performance optimization, component libraries, or interactive web applications, we'll work together to define a project that fits both your interests and our business needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Developing and improving user interfaces for Odido's digital platforms.
- Working with modern front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript.
- Optimizing applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Collaborating with UX designers, back-end developers, and product teams to create seamless experiences.
- Experimenting with new front-end tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve our development workflows.
Requirements
For these 3 internships we only accept students that are already in The Netherlands, studying for their Bachelor or Masters. Not already graduated students., Some things you cannot learn at university, but you possess them by nature. Your core personality is curious, analytical, problem-solving, and proactive. You enjoy understanding how systems communicate and finding ways to optimize those interactions.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing in The Netherlands a Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Interest in front-end development, UI/UX, and modern web technologies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design (experience is a plus).
- A strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
