Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester / Automation Test Developer to join a collaborative development team supporting the maintenance, enhancement, and quality assurance of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test solutions to ensure application stability, performance, and quality.

This role offers an opportunity to work closely with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional Agile teams while gaining exposure to Java-based application development, automated testing frameworks, and modern software engineering practices., * Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TOSCA to support regression and release testing.

  • Create detailed manual test cases and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
  • Perform manual testing and validate application functionality across multiple releases.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Support end-to-end testing activities to ensure application reliability and performance.

Software Development Support

  • Develop and maintain JUnit and JMockit test cases to support developer unit testing.
  • Assist senior developers with application maintenance, troubleshooting, and debugging activities.
  • Contribute to writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve code quality and development practices.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and testing objectives.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain testing documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Stay current with emerging testing tools, automation frameworks, and software development best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience writing and executing manual test cases and test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using TOSCA.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test management processes.
  • Experience with ALM, qTest, and NeoLoad.
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities., * Experience developing automated unit tests using JUnit and JMockit.
  • Working knowledge of Java application development.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Exposure to Spring Framework, Hibernate, or related Java technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level applications in a structured SDLC environment.
