Job description
The Solutions Engineer is the technical backbone of our Customer Success team. You'll sit just beneath our core engineering team (Kevin and Innocent) and act as the bridge between the customers and the codebase - keeping integrations running, resolving account-specific issues, and freeing senior engineers to build the next version of the product.
This is a hands-on, in-the-weeds support engineering role. If you like solving real problems for real customers, learning a modern AI stack from people who'll mentor you, and seeing the direct impact of your work every single day, this is a launchpad.
What you'll do
- Own customer-facing technical issues. Investigate and fix bugs in individual customer accounts on an ongoing basis - configuration problems, data-mapping issues, scoring or routing misbehavior, and the one-off oddities that come with a live platform.
- Maintain our integration rails. Keep our VoIP and call-tracking integrations healthy (e.g., CallRail, WhatConverts, RingCentral, Zoom). Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair the connections that pipe call data into the platform.
- Be the technical arm of Customer Success. Partner with the CS team on customer requests, translate "the dashboard looks wrong" into a root cause, and ship the fix or escalate cleanly to core engineering when it's a deeper issue.
- Reproduce, diagnose, document. Read logs, trace API/webhook payloads, isolate root causes, and write up what you found so the same issue doesn't bite us twice.
- Grow into more. As you ramp, take on larger pieces of the platform and standing engineering assets under the guidance of the senior team.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical writing?, We care more about aptitude and attitude than years on a résumé. The right person is coachable, curious, and already has some engineering experience under their belt., * Some real engineering experience - a degree, a bootcamp, internships, freelance work, or solid personal projects all count. You've written and shipped code.
- Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and JSON, and the instinct to debug methodically rather than guess.
- Reading comprehension for logs and error messages; you can follow a thread from symptom to cause.
- A genuinely coachable mindset - you take feedback well, ask good questions, and don't pretend to know things you don't.
- Strong written communication. You'll be explaining technical things to non-technical teammates and customers.
- Willing to work in-person in the Greenville, SC area.
Nice to have (not required - we'll teach you)
- Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (Python or JavaScript).
- Exposure to any VoIP, telephony, or call-tracking platform.
- Any experience with AI/LLM-based products or prompt-driven systems.
- Curiosity about the legal industry or how small businesses actually run.
Pay: $59,372.24 - $78,938.55 per year
