Data Center Techs (ISP CT1s)

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Data Center Techs (ISP CT1s) in Fayetteville, GA. The Data Center Technician (ISP CT1) is responsible for the installation and maintenance of inside plant structured cabling and infrastructure within a large-scale data center environment. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction who can work efficiently under the direction of the Project Management team to meet mission-critical deadlines., * Install, route, and secure structured cabling and fiber optics within an inside plant (ISP) environment.

• Operate ladders and various personnel lifts to access overhead cable pathways and infrastructure.
• Assist with the assembly and installation of server racks, cabinets, and cable management systems.
• Follow project blueprints and technical instructions to ensure precise hardware placement and connectivity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following job site organization and debris removal protocols.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team to report daily progress and escalate any technical roadblocks.
• Perform basic electrical support tasks and low-voltage installations as directed by site leads.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and customer-specific safety guidelines.

Do you have experience in Working on construction projects?, * Previous professional experience in a construction environment is required.

• Prior experience in electrical work or low-voltage cabling is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and comfort working with ladders and various mechanical lifts.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain a high level of productivity with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred, though Spanish is accepted.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure data center project setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, and navigate large-scale construction sites for the duration of a shift.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined or restricted spaces.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to perform installation duties.
• Excellent manual dexterity for handling tools and small cabling components.
• Ability to see and distinguish different colors for cable identification purposes.
