Job description

  • Write public cloud infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform, including reusable modules.
  • Design and develop public cloud landing zone automation to deliver core foundational platform services.
  • Build cloud service provisioning automation integrating IAM, network, security policies as code, and observability.
  • Implement resiliency, observability, and FinOps practices within IaaS and PaaS infrastructure automation.
  • Develop and maintain a cloud services catalog for standardized consumption.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines to build the cloud platform, VM images, and containers.
  • Collaborate with product management and operations to deliver the engineering roadmap in an Agile model.
  • Partner with Information Security to engineer secure patterns into cloud platforms.
  • Research and analyze stakeholder needs to define business problems and technical options.
  • Translate requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks aligned to standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.
  • Promote an inclusive working environment and help resolve organizational impediments.

Requirements

We are seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure cloud automation, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling and a proven ability to design, build, and operate reliable, secure cloud platform services at enterprise scale., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years as a Cloud Automation Engineer with 3+ years on Microsoft Azure.
  • Significant hands-on experience with HashiCorp Terraform configurations and modules.
  • Experience with DevOps and GitOps models including infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and policy-as-code.
  • Proficiency translating designs into production-grade Terraform code.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud; certification preferred. AWS or GCP exposure desirable.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
  • Experience building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Knowledge of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Experience with containers and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, pipelines, and container registries.
  • Experience with automation and programming tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Java, and Python.
  • Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tooling.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent communication and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Azure ML as a primary skill area.
  • Terraform as a secondary skill area.
  • Experience in financial services or on technology and infrastructure teams.
  • Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.

  • Local candidates only. Hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week in Chandler, AZ.
