Job description
This position is part of a major Azure migration project and will play a key role in designing, supporting, and optimizing cloud and on-premises infrastructure while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across the enterprise., * Design, implement, administer, and maintain Azure cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure environments
- Support Azure migration and modernization projects, including integration with AWS environments
- Manage Active Directory, Windows Server (2016+), Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SaaS applications
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools
- Configure and support enterprise networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maximize availability and efficiency
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity efforts
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams on strategic technology initiatives
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator with strong Azure expertise to join our Corporate IT Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on Azure cloud infrastructure, hybrid environments, enterprise networking, automation, and cloud modernization initiatives., * 10+ years of hands-on systems administration experience in enterprise environments
- 5+ years of recent experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, architecture, and networking
- Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Experience integrating and supporting connectivity between Azure and AWS
- Hands-on PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and enterprise networking
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and infrastructure management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, CCNA/CCNP, Security+, VMware, or ITIL certifications
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX or GDPR
