Test MaxQ Medical is developing a next-generation ultrasound system that combines advanced electronics, signal processing, and system-level design to deliver a transformative imaging and therapy solution for prostate care. Our team operates at the intersection of hardware and software, building systems that enable precise treatments with better patient outcomes. The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic subsystems that power our ultrasound platform. Requirements
automate test and validation workflows using tools such as Python or MATLABPartner closely with cross-functional teams (software, systems, mechanical) to ensure seamless system integrationDocument designs, test results, and performance validationWhat Were Looking For Required:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 4+ years of experience in hardware / electrical engineering Strong PCB design experience (core requirement), including schematic capture and layout Experience debugging and validating hardware in a lab environment Familiarity with common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, waveform generators, etc.) Working knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar) Preferred:Experience with Altium Designer (or similar PCB design tools)Experience with high-frequency, low-noise, or mixed-signal electronicsExposure to ultrasound, medical imaging, or similar complex systems (e.g., RF, radar, sensing systems)Experience working in dynamic R&D environments, with the ability to navigate evolving priorities while maintaining focus on complex, long-cycle engineering work
