Job description

· Seeking Mobile QA Automation Analyst to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for iOS and Android platforms.

· This role works closely and collaboratively with quality engineering teams, developers and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard automation tools.

· This role focuses on validating customer journeys, payment processing, order management, promotions, inventory, and integration across enterprise systems while driving strategy, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for iOS and Android mobile applications.

· Execute automated test cases for functional, regression, smoke, integration testing, and analyze test execution results, investigate failures.

· Perform cross-platform testing on iOS and Android devices, ensuring consistent user experience and functionality.

· Create automated reporting dashboards and quality metrics to provide visibility into product health and release readiness.

· Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI, developers, business analysts, and manual testing teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

· Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and design discussions to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle.

· Participate in defect triage sessions, perform thorough bug fix verification and validation to ensure defects are properly resolved and conduct targeted regression testing to confirm stability across related modules and workflows.

· Partner with business stakeholders to plan, lead, and conduct User Acceptance Testing, validating business requirements and securing final approval.

· Execute post-deployment smoke testing to validate critical retail workflows immediately after production releases.

· Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across QA teams.

Requirements

Note : We need someone with building automation framework experience (hands-on automation coding experience, which includes building and maintaining the framework, scripting, test data etc. Experience with Playwright and Appium experience is a plus., · Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

· 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.

· 5+ years of hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

· Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, Playwright, Maestro, or similar technologies.

· Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.

· Experience navigating GIT-based source repositories such as Bitbucket or Github with a solid understanding of branching strategies in GIT.

· Experience automating hybrid mobile applications with familiarity with cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or TestMu (formerly Lambdatest).

· Acts as a self-starter by independently driving test automation initiatives, identifying quality risks early, developing innovative testing solutions, and continuously improving automation frameworks, processes, and test coverage while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Hands-on experience with Iterative and Agile/SCRUM methodologies, including Sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, Sprint reviews, retrospectives, and cross-functional team collaboration.

· Working ability to remain effective under stress, respond appropriately to pressure, and maintain productivity, professionalism, and quality in fast-paced environments.

· Proficient ability to remain flexible, adapt to changing priorities, and respond with urgency to evolving business and project needs while maintaining high-quality results.

· Proficient communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, influence, and convey technical and business information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
