Network Engineer - Secret Clearance

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico, VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

What You'll Do You will:

• Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi-classification networks and infrastructure
• Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution.
• Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs.
• Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis.
• Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture.

• Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5+ years' experience in network design, infrastructure, and security

• Technical

• Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls

• Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies.

• Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth design.

• Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN)

• Preferred (Nice to have)

• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors.

• Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis.

• Experience supporting DoD environments

Certifications:

• Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Travel & Passport

• Some overnight stays possible.

Office setting:

• Full time onsite role on USMC Base Quantico in Quantico, VA
• Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site
• Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
• Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
• May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
