Systems Engineer

This role focuses on supporting a diverse range of systems, including Office 365, Exchange on-premises, Nutanix, and VMware. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to manage and optimize these systems while contributing to a significant project involving migration to Nutanix. This position offers the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a dynamic work environment.

Business Purpose: This role serves as a backfill for a previous employee, focusing on supporting the transition from VMware to Nutanix., * Support and manage various systems including Office 365, Exchange on-premises, Nutanix, and VMware to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Engage in a significant migration project from VMware to Nutanix, contributing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
• Administer Active Directory, managing user accounts and permissions to maintain security and compliance.
• Monitor and manage backups using Rubrik to ensure data integrity and availability for critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the technology stack.

• Demonstrated experience with Nutanix and VMware in a production environment, showcasing hands-on technical skills.
• Strong understanding of Office 365 and Exchange on-premises, including administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid experience with Active Directory and NTFS permissions management.
• Familiarity with Rubrik and backup management practices to ensure data protection.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare and its features is a plus, as well as any experience in mergers and acquisitions.
