The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions:
Employee is expected to demonstrate, model, and reinforce the agency's fundamental values of quality, fairness, cooperation, respect, commitment, excellence, honesty, and teamwork. Employee is expected to demonstrate knowledge, skills and ability to prepare, provide, and disseminate quality products representative of the Department's commitment to quality, efficient services, and practices. Planning, scheduling, and implementation of work assignments pertaining to access management, ensuring there is documented history for ID creation and deletion, folders and drive mappings. Collects, evaluates, and analyzes data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities related to the bureau's IT service management system. Planning, scheduling, and implementation of work assignments pertaining to data searches (e.g., e-mail) relating to legal discovery or public record requests from the public or press. Provides on-site and technical assistance to clients through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems. Researches, evaluates and tests new technology in accordance with Agency goals.
Requirements

Attendance is an essential function.
1-2 years of direct work experience in an IT related field. Mandatory skills require: Hybrid Active Directory environment (ADUC, AzureAD, Entra) knowledge required. Knowledge required: Exchange Management; Experience utilizing PowerShell.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferences will be given to: Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Management, Office 365, TEAMS, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with supervisors and fellow coworkers. The information can be exchanged face-to face, in writing or via telephone/electronic transfer. Ability to evaluate and reason with information and data to make decisions and solve problems. Ability to coordinate work and activities of work groups to accomplish tasks. Ability to assess technical problems and determine resources needed to resolve them. Working knowledge of Hybrid AD environments and the ability to make pertinent recommendations to each. Ability to use logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to solving problems. Ability to gather information and use the information for implementing ideas and programs to improve employee performance or service to customers. · Knowledge of operational and technical environments for use in making decisions for future growth or change to the organization. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Must possess the following: time management skills; organizational skills; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTIONS: F.S. 112.219 - Substitution of work experience for postsecondary educational requirements.
An associate's degree in computer science or related field.
Related work experience may not subsitute for any licensure, certification, or registration required ny an agency and indicated in the advertised job description.
