Job description
cFocus Software seeks a Database Management Analyst to join our program supporting the United States Navy (DON). This position is on site in the San Diego, CA area. This position requires a Secret or TS/SCI clearance., * Administer, maintain, test, and update databases supporting Navy Modernization Process (NMP) activities.
- Support data management for Ship Change Documents (SCDs), modernization schedules, NDE-EP actions, SPIDER/RIPTIDE data, and modernization tracking systems.
- Maintain Advance Planning databases, modernization roadmaps, fielding schedules, spend plans, and planning metrics.
- Support Baseline Management activities by maintaining configuration records, platform baselines, installation status information, and associated documentation repositories.
- Maintain Design Management databases containing installation packages, site survey data, engineering drawings, ICDs, JCFs, SIDs, EDDs, and installation schedules.
- Track and manage engineering documentation, ECPs, VECPs, test plans, readiness reviews, and production-phase engineering updates.
- Maintain acquisition data repositories and support tracking of ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, APBs, ADMs, AoAs, SARs, DAESs, and other acquisition documentation.
- Generate reports, dashboards, metrics, and status summaries supporting program, engineering, modernization, and acquisition decision-making.
- Coordinate database updates with program managers, engineers, logisticians, acquisition personnel, and government stakeholders.
- Perform data validation, quality control, reconciliation, and record audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of program information.
- Implement database security controls and access management procedures to safeguard sensitive and classified information.
- Support configuration management activities by tracking changes, maintaining audit trails, and preserving document version control.
- Assist with data calls, information requests, program reviews, technical working groups, and executive reporting requirements.
- Generate notifications and status alerts for overdue documentation, missing records, schedule milestones, and database discrepancies.
- Support data collection, validation, reporting, configuration tracking, engineering documentation management, acquisition documentation repositories, and modernization planning systems.
Requirements
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 3 - 10+ years of experience with Database Analysis.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data management principles, and information assurance practices.
- Ability to organize, analyze, validate, and report large volumes of program and engineering data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access, SharePoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and support configuration management processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment supporting multiple stakeholders
- Administers, tests, maintains, and implements databases supporting Navy modernization programs.
