Job description

Deltra Systems is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Compliance Manager to lead and oversee compliance services provided to our banking, credit union, and regulated industry clients throughout Texas.

The IT Compliance Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customer leadership teams and is responsible for helping clients maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices. This role requires strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading meetings with executives, auditors, examiners, and technical teams; establishing clear expectations; driving accountability; and ensuring compliance-related initiatives are completed accurately and on schedule.

Primary Duties

  • Serve as the primary compliance advisor for assigned client accounts.
  • Assist clients in preparing for regulatory examinations, IT audits, cybersecurity assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Assist with creating, implementing, and maintaining social engineering test procedures that will help customers meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with creating, implementing, and maintaining IT Security Awareness training that will help customers meet regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate remediation planning and tracking audit findings, examination recommendations, and risk assessment observations.
  • Assist clients with risk assessments, vendor management reviews, business continuity planning, and cybersecurity program oversight.
  • Oversee security awareness training initiatives and social engineering testing programs.
  • Assist clients with software licensing compliance and technology governance initiatives.
  • Review and maintain compliance-related documentation and reporting.

Client Relationship Management

  • Lead client compliance meetings, IT Committee meetings, and executive-level discussions.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and compliance updates to management and boards of directors when appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with client leadership and act as a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Manage multiple client projects and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Coordinate compliance-related activities with technical services, cybersecurity, and support teams.
  • Establish clear expectations, timelines, and deliverables for internal teams.
  • Monitor progress of compliance initiatives and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
  • Hold team members accountable for assigned responsibilities and project milestones.

Requirements

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related field
  • Experience leading meetings and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and business productivity tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in an IT environment
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in a Customer Service environment
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in the Banking industry

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting community banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions.
  • Experience with FFIEC, GLBA, NCUA, FDIC, OCC, or related regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience supporting IT audits, regulatory examinations, or risk assessments.
  • Experience with vendor management, cybersecurity governance, or information security programs.
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
  • The following are preferred, but not required, education and certification levels:
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • CompTIA Network+ certification
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Cisco certifications
  • College courses in Network Administration or Information Systems

Miscellaneous

  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and maintain current auto insurance as required by the state of Texas.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct appropriate for customer-facing engagements.
