Job description
This role serves as a technical pre-sales leader supporting Moody's catastrophe modeling, data, and technology solutions across insurance, reinsurance, and broker clients. The individual will partner cross-functionally to drive solution adoption, lead technical sales engagements, and guide clients in designing scalable, data-driven architectures aligned to their business and technology strategies.
- Support go-to-market execution across catastrophe modeling, data, and platform solutions for global insurance clients
- Partner with product, engineering, consulting, and sales teams to drive adoption of data, platform, and integration-led solutions
- Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, including RFP responses, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept
- Advise clients on integration strategies, including APIs, scripting, and orchestration across Moody's and client environments
- Support solution design for data architecture, including Risk Data Lake, aligned with client cloud and data strategies
- Engage clients in AI/GenAI discussions, positioning how Moody's data integrates into broader AI ecosystems
- Scope and size technical environments, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and cost-effective implementations
- Build strong client relationships and translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights that drive adoption
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technology advisory?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 15+ years' experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or client-facing technical role within a data, analytics, or technology organization
- Strong experience with data architecture, including data lakes (e.g., Risk Data Lake), integrations, SQL/database services, and API-driven workflows
- Ability to leverage AI/GenAI technologies (including MCP, agentic workflows, and GenAI-ready data) to support client use cases and solution positioning
- Experience supporting complex sales cycles, including RFPs, demos, and proofs of concept, with a focus on technical solutioning
- Proven ability to translate client requirements into scalable, technically sound architectures aligned to business outcomes
- Strong understanding of integration strategies, including REST APIs, scripting, and orchestration across platforms
- Ability to engage credibly with both business and technical stakeholders, including C-suite and engineering teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data, integration, and AI concepts
- Consultative approach with experience influencing decision makers across varied client environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical and workflow challenges and develop effective solutions
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Experience working closely with product, engineering, or consulting teams to drive adoption and client success
- Ability to scope and size technical environments, including compute, storage, and large-scale data workflows
- Willingness to travel as needed, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related technical field required
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) in a related technical discipline preferred

- Employee discount, For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $200,300.00 - $290,450.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
