Job description
We are seeking an entry-level System Engineer to provide systems engineering support across mission-critical government programs. The ideal candidate will assist with systems design, documentation, and integration activities while gaining exposure to large-scale enterprise and cloud-based architectures. You will work closely with senior engineers to contribute to technical documentation, requirement analysis, and system design development supporting complex, multi-domain mission environments., * Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirement Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Support management of system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatibility with defined architectures (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).
- Assist in developing and allocating system and functional requirements across hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Support system architecture and design documentation under senior engineering guidance.
- Coordinate the resolution of Configuration Control Board (CCB) action items and design/test review issues requiring cross-discipline collaboration.
- Assist in preparing or maintaining System Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and System Integration & Test Plans.
- Participate in design reviews, program reviews, and test activities across integrated engineering teams.
- Contribute to documentation and communication of engineering results to government customers and senior technical staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Substitution: Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Clearance Requirements Active Secret clearance (minimum) - TS/SCI strongly preferred., * No prior experience required.
