Job description

ATC is looking for a highly adaptable, quick learning, self-starter Computer Scientist who would like to build their career in the area of the development of high technology electronics systems for the space and communications industries., As the Computer Scientist, you will work with a small, highly effective team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to deliver software solutions for a diverse customer set using commercial and sometimes custom application components. The Computer Scientist will be responsible for the development and repairing software coding on RF and optical testbed systems and components., Assurance Technology Corporation (ATC) is a leader in the design, development, delivery and support of advanced RF, Optical, Processing and Power systems key to space, avionics, shipboard and terrestrial operations in support of the US military, NASA, NOAA and the commercial sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience in software development
  • Proficiency in C++, CM Tools (SVN, Git), BASH or C Shell, Python, and the Linux operating system
  • Desired familiarity and/or experience with GPU programming (CUDA), parallel processing (multithreading), the MATLAB language, and basic GUI development.
  • Skills in mathematical programming to support algorithmic development are strongly desired.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen and have a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
