Job description

Requirements
3+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Kotlin.
Experience working in a team, actively engaging in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming.
Experience mentoring and coaching other Android developers in a team-based organization.
The Skills You Bring
Your knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and new technologies used in crafting performant, resilient, and robust Android apps
Deep understanding of Clean Architecture with either MVP or MVVM.
Experience building multi-module Android apps is a big plus.
Understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure adherence to software engineering best practices including object-oriented and functional programming
Strong understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, etc.
Understands the benefits of Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Good understanding of Android Jetpack as well as open-source libraries like Retrofit, and Kotlin to build modern, stable, resilient, and future-ready apps.
Experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose is a plus.
Good understanding of Android's Accessibility features and experience building accessible experiences.

This is a Contract position based out of Westlake, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
