Job description
We are looking for a Network Engineer (Level 2) outside of Nashville, TN. He/she must have 5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise and HPC networks, including strong hands-on expertise in Ethernet and NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand environments. This role partners closely with customers, vendors, and R&D to design network topologies, resolve complex server and TOR/NIC issues, and ensure scalable, secure, high-performance network operations., Working on designing, configuring, and managing internetworks including ethernet and Mellanox/NVIDIA InfiniBand in High Performance Computing environments.

Troubleshooting server product networking issues between TOR SW, DAC, and NIC.

Analyze the failures and collaborate with R&D team to find out the root cause.

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and integrity.

Create, oversee, and test security measures.

Maintain complete technical documentation.

Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.

Research, implement, install, develop, and maintain all network operations including routers, firewalls, switches, access, servers, and network facilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.

5+ years hands-on experience with infrastructure engineering with enterprise network technologies including InfiniBand networks.

Strong experience in setting up, configuring, and managing Ethernet and InfiniBand networks.

Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues.

Good understanding of computer systems and other products and services

Solid background in network administration and architecture

In-depth understanding of communication and routing protocols

Familiarity with access control models and network security

Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools

Solid understanding of network operating systems - Professional certification preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP)
