As a Modern Workplace Specialist - Messaging, Identity & Device Management, you will ensure the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft 365 workplace services.

You will act as the technical expert for messaging, identity, and endpoint management, driving automation, standardization, and service excellence across the organization. Working closely with our managed-services partner, you will define best practices, oversee operational quality, and provide advanced technical support for complex issues and projects. Through your expertise in Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and PowerShell automation, you will help deliver a secure, scalable, and modern digital workplace aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Administer and optimize Microsoft Exchange Online, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune services.

Design, implement, and maintain secure messaging, identity, access management, and endpoint management solutions.

Manage mail flow, email security, Conditional Access, MFA, and endpoint compliance policies.

Develop and maintain PowerShell-based automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Support identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.

Act as second/third-level technical expert for complex incidents, escalations, and operational challenges.

Supervise and guide the managed-services partner, ensuring service quality, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Contribute to technical standards, documentation, security initiatives, and the Modern Workplace roadmap.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience (medior level) in administration of Microsoft 365 services. The role covers three domains. The candidate is expected to demonstrate deep, hands-on expertise in at least one of the following, and a solid working knowledge of the other two:
- Messaging: Exchange Online (mail flow, protection, migrations, hybrid where relevant)
- Identity: Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory, hybrid synchronization, Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle
- Devices: Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management (Autopilot, compliance, application deployment)
- Excellent PowerShell scripting skills and a strong interest in automation and process improvement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and compliance technologies, including Defender and Purview.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Fluent English and the ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Microsoft certifications (MS-102, MS-203, SC-300, MD-102) are considered an advantage.
