Job description

As a Senior IT Auditor Manager at Ahold Delhaize, you lead complex IT audits, assess cybersecurity and platform risks, advise senior stakeholders on controls, and coordinate global audit teams to strengthen governance and drive actionable improvements.   • Assess IT general controls (access, change management, operations), security controls, and SDLC practices.
  • Lead audit teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality workpapers and evidence.
  • Identify control gaps, quantify risk, and develop practical remediation recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders (IT, security, risk, compliance, and business leaders) to communicate findings and drive resolution.
  • Oversee audit reporting, issue tracking, validation testing, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Contribute to annual audit planning, risk assessments, and process improvements for the audit function., As a Senior IT Auditor Manager 1, you will join our Internal Audit function within the Technology domain. You'll work in a multidisciplinary and international environment alongside audit and non-audit professionals, collaborating across brands and countries to drive value and insights

Key focus areas of your role

Lead and execute complex IT audits

You will take ownership and leadership roles in IT audits across domains such as cybersecurity, digital platforms, supply chain systems, and customer-facing applications.

Drive risk assessment and business impact

You will analyze and assess IT risk management practices within business units and translate findings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Act as a trusted advisor

Beyond assurance, you provide tailored recommendations that strengthen control frameworks and support strategic business objectives.

Strengthen global audit collaboration

You will coordinate activities across global audit teams, coach colleagues, and contribute to capability building within Internal Audit.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of IT risk management, cybersecurity concepts, and control frameworks.
  • Experience with audit methodology, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to evaluate complex technical environments and translate results into clear business impacts.
  • Leadership skills: coaching, performance management, and cross-functional influence.
  • Proficiency with common audit areas such as IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, logging/monitoring, backups, and vendor risk., * Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) and experience with cloud platforms and modern security tooling., * 5-8 years of IT audit or IT consulting experience in a multinational or consulting environment
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar (RE is a plus)
  • Certification such as CISSP or Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
  • Experience with IT risk, controls, and enterprise systems
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally
