As a Lead Cyber Security Consultant, you'll act as a trusted advisor across the business, supporting the delivery of cyber strategy while ensuring security is embedded throughout projects and business operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert cyber security advice to business leaders and project teams
  • Supporting the development of cyber policies, standards and governance frameworks
  • Leading the resolution of complex cyber security challenges
  • Monitoring emerging cyber threats, technologies and regulatory developments
  • Supporting cyber assurance activities and regulatory compliance
  • Working closely with stakeholders to embed security into programmes and projects
  • Supporting cyber transformation initiatives and organisational capability development
  • Assisting senior leadership during cyber security incidents where required

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a strong cyber security background who enjoys influencing stakeholders and driving positive change.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience within cyber security or information assurance
  • Experience working within large or complex organisations
  • Good understanding of cyber security frameworks, governance and risk management
  • Knowledge of regulations including GDPR, NIS/NIS2, CAF or similar compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience supporting cyber transformation or security improvement programmes

Desirable

  • CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 certification
  • Experience within highly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of incident response and cyber assurance
  • Experience supporting organisational change or project assurance
