Job description

We are seeking a mid-level Quality Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to support testing efforts across enterprise applications, with a primary focus on SAP Commerce Cloud. The candidate will likely also work on WalkMe and may contribute to HCM-related testing, though HCM is not a primary requirement for this role.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, test design, defect management, and functional validation, along with hands-on experience in functional test automation using Playwright with Java. This individual should be comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality releases across web-based enterprise platforms.

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for executing both manual and automated testing efforts across SAP Commerce Cloud applications, focusing heavily on core commerce workflows such as product search, cart, checkout, pricing, and order processing. They will review requirements and user stories to build detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases, then execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing cycles. The role involves identifying and managing defects throughout the full lifecycle, performing retesting, and ensuring high-quality releases. They will also design and maintain automation scripts using Playwright with Java, validate integrations with other enterprise systems, and support release activities including environment readiness and test data setup. Daily work includes collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies, while providing clear updates on testing progress, risks, and overall release readiness

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in QA

  • Hands-on experience testing SAP Commerce Cloud (CX Cloud) applications

  • Strong manual testing background (test planning, execution, regression, and validation)

  • Experience with defect management and full QA lifecycle

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright using Java for automation testing
