Expectations include leading a cross-functional team daily and coordinating regularly with engineering and project management to ensure success of the product and program.

This individual will lead quality, cost, scheduling, and scope while navigating the various team dynamics present.

Additionally, as a product line, this role entails working with each products architect, the VSL, and business development to define the product line roadmaps and drive for funding to ensure the product line is ready for the next mission as a function of AOP/SFP planning.
Requirements

Demonstrated time management skills - ability to work unsupervised, multi-task, and coordinate work.

Succeed while leading in a team environment.

Manage work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools for large or complex projects.

Monitors budgets, cost, effectiveness, and reliability of activities and make recommendations to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met.

Willingness to travel (domestic and international <35%).
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
-
DO-178 or similar certification-based development experience.
-
Experience in the design and development of deliverable software (production or consumer facing).
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry

Tuition reimbursement program, The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
