Job description
- Build and support platform services including Kubernetes, containers, and VM infrastructure.
- Develop and execute automation solutions for deployments, upgrades, and large-scale infrastructure changes using tools like Ansible and scripting.
- Support and improve platform environments by building workflows that reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives, working with agent-based workflows and intelligent orchestration.
- Leverage AI tools to support troubleshooting, enhance operational efficiency, and improve platform automation processes.
- Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
- Document runbooks and operational procedures.
Requirements
A strong candidate will demonstrate a collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset. The ability to learn and grow is prioritized over a perfect technical match., * Strong foundational understanding of Kubernetes, containers, virtual machines, and general cloud/platform concepts.
- Ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized environments and understand end-to-end platform service operations.
- 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS).
Automation Mindset & Skills:
- Experience with or exposure to infrastructure automation, scripting, or orchestration.
- Thinks in terms of scaling solutions rather than performing manual tasks.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWX.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
AI Readiness:
- Comfort and interest in learning and working with AI tools and concepts for automation.
- Familiarity with AI assistants (like GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q), AIOps concepts, and AI agent frameworks is beneficial.
