Job description
We are seeking an experienced UEM Intune/SCCM Engineer to support a large-scale migration project. This role involves designing and implementing Microsoft Intune-based solutions, packaging and deploying applications, and transitioning infrastructure to modern management. This is a 9-month project with a strong likelihood of extension, supporting an initiative with a performance period through 2027., * Design and implement Microsoft Intune-based solutions that align with user needs, security requirements, and enterprise standards.
- Package, deploy, and maintain applications using Intune, with a focus on automation and user experience.
- Create and manage Intune policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations.
- Write and run scripts within Intune for application packaging, policy writing, and creating configuration items.
- Read and understand SCCM Task Sequence States or Status Messages for troubleshooting and analysis.
- Design and deploy Windows 10 and 11 provisioning workflows using Intune, Autopilot, and dynamic provisioning.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to transition Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to modern Intune equivalents.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Intune configurations and processes.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline is required. Specific experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 4 - 12 years of prior relevant experience is required. Candidates must have experience migrating users and desktops to Microsoft Intune and working directly with customers and stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Intune, including writing and running scripts, application packaging, writing policies, and creating configuration items.
- Experience with SCCM, including application packaging and interpreting task sequence status messages.
- Experience writing and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts.
Certification:
- A current IAT Level II (or higher) certification, such as Security+ or CISSP, is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is preferred.
