Job description
We are seeking engineering-focused infrastructure engineers to support New Product Introduction (NPI) of Enterprise systems. This role sits at the front edge of innovation-building the first deployments, navigating unknowns, and creating the tools, automation, and standards that enable platform teams to scale globally.
This is not a technician or runbook-following role. Engineers in this team design, prototype, automate, and standardize how new systems, clusters, and infrastructure are brought online for the first time. Once stabilized, these solutions are handed off to partner platform teams for scale.
This role designs and creates the tools that others use.
Mission
Enable engineering teams to build, validate, and ship next-generation products by:

Preparing infrastructure before systems arrive, New Product Introduction & Infrastructure Readiness

Lead infrastructure bring-up for NPI enterprise products

Work directly with product and engineering teams to understand new hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements

Navigate ambiguity to define what tools, automation, and infrastructure changes are required

Prepare labs and data center environments to receive first-of-kind systems

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
