Job description
The job duties of the Sr. Systems Administrator are as follows:

Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.

Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.

Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
-
Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.

Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior Systems Administrator personnel.

Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
-
Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.

Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.

Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.

Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
Requirements

Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ CE | CompTIA - CompTIA
Experience:
9 + years of related experience, + Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.

Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.

Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).

At least 10 years of relevant experience.

Security + Certified; Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred)

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in a field applicable to this work

US Citizenship Required

TS/SCI with CI Poly
Desired Qualifications

Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.

Satellite server administration.

Ansible playbook writing.

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
