Job description

Secrets Hub is a cloud-native, multi-cloud SaaS product that helps organizations centralize secrets management across AWS, Azure, GCP, and HashiCorp Vault. It is used by some of the world's largest enterprises to secure critical workloads in modern DevOps environments.

As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and enhance backend services that power the Secrets Hub platform. You'll work in a modern AWS serverless environment and collaborate closely with peers across Bulgaria and Israel. This role is hands-on and focused on feature delivery, quality, and learning, rather than architectural leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure backend services as part of the Secrets Hub platform.
  • Work with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK).
  • Write clean, maintainable Python code and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers in Bulgaria and Israel to deliver customer value.
  • Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, and testing frameworks.
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or elite military tech unit alumni).
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including experience building production-grade systems in Python (or a similar modern language).
  • Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and system design.
  • Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in English.
  • Passion for writing high-quality, maintainable code and learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
  • Familiarity with AWS serverless ecosystem (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS).
  • Frontend experience (React, TypeScript) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of secrets management, security, or identity domains.
  • Experience working in distributed teams across locations.

What You Will Get

  • Additional health insurance with dental treatment included
  • Life / permanent disability insurance
  • Sick Leave allowance
  • Mobile phone plan
  • FLEXBenefits wallet
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
