Analyst: F135 Systems Customer Support Engineer - Lightening Sustainment Center (LSC) (On-site)

• Designs and implements automated solutions to eliminate manual workflows, integrate operational systems, and provide real time data visibility to improve decision-making in the LSC.
• Process Automation -Identify repetitive, manual workflows (reports, data pulls, etc.). Design and build automation scripts or services to replace them -Power Automate.
• Systems Integration - can connect disconnected tools and data sources. Build pipelines that move data automatically between systems. Ensures data consistency and reliability.
• Data Engineering - builds Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines. Cleans and structures convoluted data and can help to enable real-time visibility. Perform as the point of contact for data integration/product IPT (Integrated Product Teams).
• Tools/Dashboard Development - creates internal tools for LSC team (web apps, scripts, dashboards), improves usability and reduce time-to-decision
• Monitoring and Alerting - set up automated alerts for system failures, SLA breaches, operational anomalies
• Continuous Improvement - analyzes bottlenecks in LSC workflows, optimizes performance of automation tools, can gather feedback from LSC users and iterate quickly, Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. This position is classified as:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Experience with Python, APIs and Integration, SQL, scripting & automation tools, Cloud platforms and version control (Github).

Qualifications We Prefer

• Technical knowledge of gas turbine systems and airframe physical/ functional integration.
• Knowledge of engine systems operation, software development processes, and configuration management.
• Project management experience.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

The Military Customer Support & Services organization (MCS&S) is seeking an individual to join its 5th Generation organization (F135 and F119 Engine programs) as a F135 Systems Customer Support Engineer. The engine program that powers the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter has a high visibility position for a motivated, self-starting Engineer. As part of MCS&S, you will support customers in the field across three different US military services and a multitude of international military services. This role will be supporting the sustainment of the F135 propulsion system. The selected candidate will be working directly with the USG Military Services, Foreign Military Services, F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), Pratt & Whitney Field Services Engineers, PW Engineering and F135 Logistics Program Management. This role will be in Dayton, Ohio with work performed onsite at the F35 Lightening Sustainment Center (LSC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
