You will be the Lead Systems Architect for the Skunk Works team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Lead Systems Architect Skunk Works you will be responsible for shaping advanced system architectures that drive mission success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and overseeing system architectures, including systems design activities.
- Serving as the focal point for development and communication of the system architecture.
- Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that consider design and technology maturity constraints.
- Developing system and subsystem architecture, design, and interface definitions.
- Supporting internal and external design reviews, including coordination with international teams.
Requirements
You are a collaborative systems thinker with deep expertise in architecture development and a proven track record of delivering complex aerospace solutions. Your ability to translate mission needs into workable designs, guide cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of emerging technologies makes this role uniquely impactful., MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secretclearance., * Experience with MBSE and systems architecture best practices

Experience as a lead systems architect on an aeronautical program

Experience leading technical interchange meetings, trade studies, and proposal activities

Experience transitioning R&D technologies into production programs

Experience with multi-INT, classification and detection capabilities

Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) development Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
