Job description

You will be the System Integration and Test Engineer, Sr Stf for the Operations Engineering team which is responsible for supporting and focusing on activities within the FTW Man In The Loop Labs, ensuring lab readiness, safety, and successful day-to-day operations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the System Integration and Test Engineer, Sr Stf you will be responsible for providing operational, technical support, and leadership for the LM Aero Fort Worth Man In The Loop Labs (MITL) Ops Team across multiple lines of business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Simulation Ops Team and troubleshoot daily technical lab anomalies.
  • Provide customer-service-focused communication and interpersonal support.
  • Coordinate with systems, software, hardware, IT, project leadership, CAMs, and external users and pilots.
  • Plan and execute lab upgrade activities and integrate new lab equipment.
  • Maintain lab safety, security, and configuration management compliance.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, can adjust your schedule to support 7-day/week, 1st and 2nd shift operations, and are driven to ensure lab performance meets customer expectations.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Candidate must be willing to adjust work schedule periodically to support program activities and customer events in a 7-day/week, 1st and 2nd shift environment., * Bachelor degree in a STEM discipline.

  • Experience leading multi-functional teams, building strong relationships with team members, and influence peers.

  • Integration and Test Engineering experience supporting Simulation Labs. Desired Skills:

  • Advanced technical degree

  • Experience designing, developing, implementing/testing, and troubleshooting Cockpit Avionics simulation systems, Manned Interface Cockpit Stations, video walls, high-speed data networks, Ethernet Comms, Link-16 systems, fiber optics comms, Audio systems, and high-speed data buses.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based lab development and support systems.

  • ability to demonstrate Tech Leadership and project management experience.

  • experience Coordinating cost, schedule, and program planning with LOB Project Leads, CAMs, and Managers, while communicating effectively with LM Aero leadership and customers.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated results.

  • F-35 Tactical Simulation Lab experience.

  • CAM experience to support program Bids and estimates submittal.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

  • Must be able to provide 2nd and/or 3rd shift and weekend support as required. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Benefits & conditions

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
