Job description
We are a growing Managed Service Provider supporting clients across Louisiana. We're looking to add a Senior IT Support Engineer who can take ownership of escalations, support complex environments, and help drive improvements across client infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be the go-to for advanced issues across Microsoft environments, servers, and networks. You'll work closely with a small, technical team and have real visibility into client environments.

Job Details What You'll Be Doing:
- Act as the escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across servers, networking, and cloud environments
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and on-prem Active Directory environments
- Support and maintain firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure (Cisco/Meraki preferred)
- Handle server builds, migrations, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance
- Work in ConnectWise (or similar) to manage tickets and meet SLAs
- Build and maintain automations to improve internal and client workflows
- Document environments, configurations, and changes clearly
- Identify risks and recommend improvements across client systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on IT experience, ideally in an MSP environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, routing, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Comfortable working escalations and owning issues end to end
- Experience with PSA/RMM tools like ConnectWise
Nice to Have:
- Cisco or Meraki experience
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience with automation tools or scripting
- Exposure to tools like Rewst or SaaS management platforms
