Job description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will assist in building scalable cloud platforms, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native solutions, optimize infrastructure, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) using industry best practices. Responsibilities
- Design and engineer DevOps CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and EDP XL Release (XLR) to automate application build, testing, and deployment.
- Build, standardize, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and reusable cloud components across AWS and Azure environments.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, maintenance, and deployment processes while implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Datadog and Dynatrace, configure alerts, and support proactive issue resolution through root cause analysis.
- Manage software releases, deployments, incidents, and change requests using EDP GT, ServiceNow, and Jira while ensuring smooth delivery across environments.
- Develop cloud-native and serverless solutions, provide operational support for globally deployed systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability, security, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- No prior experience is required; candidates with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
