The Power Platform Developer / Security Compliance Analyst is responsible for designing, delivering, and securing business applications and automation solutions that support mission-critical operations. This role combines Microsoft Power Platform development experience with hands-on cybersecurity and compliance responsibilities, ensuring systems are efficient, compliant, and resilient. The position supports both application modernization initiatives and vulnerability management efforts across Windows-based environments., Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to meet mission requirements. Workflow Automation: Create and manage automated workflows utilizing Power Automate to streamline operations and integrate disparate business systems. Scripting & Automation: Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation, system administration, and complex data manipulation. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability scans on Windows-based servers and infrastructure using DoD-approved tools. Track, analyze, and report vulnerability scores. Remediate vulnerabilities across Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET frameworks, and Internet Information Services (IIS). Compliance: Assist in securing and patching applications and systems to meet applicable STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) compliance. Maintain and automate security documentation and POA&M workflows using SharePoint and Power Platform tools.
Requirements
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with: Power Automate for workflow automation. Power Apps for building custom apps. Power BI for data visualizations. SharePoint for managing security documentation and collaboration.
Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting. Experience in custom development using .NET (C#) frameworks. Familiarity with Windows Server administration and IIS configuration. Cybersecurity & Data: Solid understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, including STIGs and DISA compliance tools. Ability to interpret scan results, prioritize findings, and implement corrective actions. Introductory-level familiarity with SQL scripting for basic data queries and reporting., · Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent plus 3-6 years of experience in related field in lieu of bachelor's degree.
· Certification: CompTIA Security+ is required.
· Clearance: Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain one
