Job description
The Regional Solutions Engineer will be responsible for providing presales application & technical support of the entire CPDI portfolio for field sales, partners, and end users in territory. The role will regionally align with field sales by traveling in-market for customer visits, conduct trainings for strategic partners, and provide techincal expertise at trade shows. The achievement of assigned key performance indicators, pipeline management, superior customer engagement, and providing maximum regional coverage and market penetration will be key to this role.
This role will partner with Solutions Architects for product-specific technical escalations, and Pre-Sales Engineers for channel-specific projects where the end user is located in territory.
Job Responsibilities

Provide general pre-sales application and technical support, and product guidance of all CPDI products for customers, end users, field sales, distributors and resellers within their region

Deliver exceptional service as the main point of customer contact through a positive attitude, high availability, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Partner with field sales to support and influence designated sales goals with both inside and outside engineering support by traveling in-market where applicable to perform customer onsites, attend trade shows, or conduct partner trainings

Analyze customer power systems and load requirements, interpret customer specifications, drawings, and schematics to select appropriate units for customer applications and build/validate Bill of Material.

Cross reference competitive product

Escalate appropriately to Solutions Architects

Provide quotations per customer requirements according to channel pricing procedures

Administer pricing programs such as deal registrations and special discounts

Profile sales opportunities and communicate leads to field sales organization and Solutions Architects accordingly

Manage assigned territory pipeline to optimize large project support and maximize win-rate

Provide single point of customer contact, owning the project from inception to implementation

Develop and maintain customer relationships through excellent customer service skills

Manage daily phone, email, and chat volume to support internal and external customers

Communicate regularly with the field sales organization to share and influence business intelligence

Proactively communicate voice of customer feedback to Solutions Architects

Travel in territory (up to 25 %) to perform IT assessments, partner trainings & trade shows
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales, customer support, marketing, or engineering

Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license

Must reside in a major U.S. city in the Northeast Region with access to a major airport

Preferred Qualifications:

Benefits & conditions
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $107,250 - $157,300
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
