Job description
- Inspect electronic assemblies to identify issues in PCBs, solder work, and test harnesses following IPC?610/620 guidelines.
- Operate advanced test instruments including multimeters, continuity testers, DVMs, DC loads, oscilloscopes, spectrum and signal analyzers, RF counters, noise figure tools, temperature chambers, and custom PCB test fixtures.
- Interpret schematics and diagnose PCB assembly faults down to individual components.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot RF hardware such as down converters, antennas, microwave modules, and power supply assemblies.
- Measure amplifier performance including output power, power draw, spectral behavior, and gain.
- Review assembly drawings for wire harnesses, PCB layouts, and electro?mechanical builds.
- Assess surface finishes for quality-paint, anodizing, plating, bead blasting, powder coat, and more.
- Test and debug cable assemblies using schematics, truth tables, and wiring diagrams.
- Execute ATPs, Prepare NCRs and ECRs to report defects and request engineering updates.
This is a full time 1st Shift Opportunity. (9/80 Schedule, 7:00-4:30 (3:30 end on working Fridays) -
Requirements
- Preferred experience in the aerospace industry as an electronics technician.
- Preferred knowledge of the AS9100 Standard.
- Preferred professional certifications: Certified IPC Specialist (CIS), ASQ Certified Technician (CQT).
- Must be ITAR compliant
