Job description

Join our team as an IT Support Specialist at The Arc Ontario and play a vital role in supporting a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals of all abilities. You'll provide high-level hardware and software support, manage internal help desk requests, configure and deploy equipment, maintain secure network systems, and ensure staff have the tools they need to succeed.   • Monitors and responds to internal help desk system to maintain a high level of customer service to staff and individuals.

  • Makes necessary modifications to user security rights and application access due to staff position changes and terminations.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree preferred and/or at least two (2) years of experience providing hardware and software support to small-to-medium sized companies.

  • Staff training experience a plus.

  • Experience in administration of Microsoft networking environments, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and similar applications.

  • Experience with Microsoft server and VMWare virtualization environments a plus. CompTIA A+ and/or Network + certification desired.
