Working Student Backend Developer - Python & Django

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performing Python and Django REST APIs for our advanced internal software and AI-driven platforms
• Architect efficient data pipelines and structural models to process, handle, and map JSON structures flawlessly
• Take full ownership of database health, managing routine tasks and upcoming data migrations across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB setups
• Partner directly with our frontend engineering team to craft seamless end-to-end user workflows and guarantee overarching system reliability
• Participate in constructive code reviews to enforce best practices, secure top-tier execution speed, and ensure high modularity
• Finetune server-side services for maximum velocity, security, and low-latency handling of intelligent, automated system logic
• Keep technical documentation and platform architecture diagrams up to date to guarantee long-term maintainability of our codebase

• Currently enrolled university student or recent graduate tracking towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related tech field
• Between 6 and 18 months of practical software development experience with Python, highlighting a reliable command of Django or an equivalent backend framework
• Solid foundations in working with relational and NoSQL database structures such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB
• Comfortable using Git for team version control and genuinely excited about deploying and managing services within Docker containers
• A logical, solution-oriented mind when tackling complex data tasks paired with an interest in engineering robust, data-secure applications
• Fluent communication skills in English, while any command of the German language is a great plus but not mandatory
