Remote Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you'll collaborate directly with the CTO to architect and build the core infrastructure of Pod. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the foundation of a platform designed to push the boundaries of decentralized applications., * Architect and Build: Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering processes, and state management.

• Innovate: Address complex challenges in distributed systems and cryptography to enhance scalability and robustness.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the founding team to iterate rapidly based on feedback from our integration partners and other members of the blockchain ecosystem.
• Set Standards: Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices to ensure the system is efficient, scalable, and developer-friendly.

• Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain systems, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Backend Development: Experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Rust. Experience in libraries like alloy and reth is appreciated.
• Adaptability: Ability to dive into new technologies and concepts with ease.
• Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a small, high-performing team.
