Own Micron's long-term network and optical interconnect strategy aligned to AI-scale and hyperscale datacenter needs

Define system and interconnect architectures across electrical and optical fabrics, endpoints, and scale-up/scale-out topologies

Lead deep technical engagements with hyperscale customers and ecosystem partners to evaluate trends and drive adoption

Translate architectural direction into product requirements and roadmaps with business, R&D, and engineering teams

Communicate system-level tradeoffs and recommendations clearly to senior technical and executive audiences
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
-
12+ years of experience in optical interconnect, high-speed networking, silicon photonics, or datacenter system architecture
-
Demonstrated expertise in system-level interconnect architecture, high-speed I/O, or AI/datacenter fabrics
-
Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives with measurable outcomes

Proven ability to engage strategically with customers and industry partners
Preferred Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in hyperscale, AI infrastructure, or network interconnect domains

Hands-on experience with system modeling, simulation, or prototype evaluation

Experience influencing or participating in industry standards and ecosystems
-
Background supporting business cases, partnerships, or M&A and investment evaluations
-
MBA or equivalent experience in business or investment strategy
Benefits & conditions
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$148,000.00 - $308,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
