Infrastructure Engineer in Baltimore

• Firewall Administration - FortiGate strongly ; general next-gen firewall experience required
• VPN Technologies - IPsec site-to-site, SD-WAN concepts
• Datacenter Infrastructure - Cross-connects, ISP handoffs, physical layer understanding
• Network Monitoring - PRTG / Zabbix, SNMP, syslog

Systems & Infrastructure

• Virtualization - Hyper-V and/or VMware administration; Proxmox experience a plus
• Backup & DR - Veeam Backup & Replication; understanding of backup architecture, job management, and recovery workflows
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID - Tenant administration, conditional access, basic security posture management
• Windows Server - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDP/terminal services
• Documentation & Diagramming - Visio or draw.io; strong documentation habits are essential to this role

• A strong communicator with an MSP mentality - juggling multiple client environments, understanding scope boundaries, knowing when something is "ours" vs. the client's internal IT
• Self-directed and comfortable working with a small team where you own outcomes, not just tickets
