Duties include architecting scalable cloud solutions, implementing Big-Data technologies, managing multi-node installations, and ensuring security and performance in high-compliance environments.
Requirements
- 12+ years software engineering experience in similar programs; Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field required.
- 4+ years in Big-Data cloud technologies and/or distributed computing.
- Substitutions: 4 years' cloud experience for degree; Master's for 2 years' experience; Cloudera Hadoop Developer cert for 1 year cloud experience., * Cloud/Distributed Computing:
- 2+ years Information Retrieval (IR)
- 1+ year with Cloud Big Table, Distributed File System, Coordination Frameworks
- 1+ year implementing MapReduce analytics
- Architecting, debugging, and managing multi-node cloud installations
- Programming & Development:
- Object-Oriented Design (Java), RESTful APIs, Maven
- Data formats: XML, JSON, CSV, Avro
- Debugging/profiling JVM, concurrent programming
- Cloud Technologies:
- YARN, J2EE, MapReduce, Zookeeper, HDFS, HBase, JMS
- IR tools: Apache Lucene, Solr, MongoDB
- Infrastructure & Security:
- Linux/UNIX (CentOS, RedHat)
- Virtualization (VMWare, VirtualBox)
- IaC tools: Ansible, Salt, Terraform
- Security: Firewalls, PKI, server authentication
- SIGINT Experience:
- Familiarity with collection disciplines, geolocation, emitter identification, and dataflow architectures
