Job description
We are seeking a highly versatile, full-stack data engineering professional to serve as a strategic enabler and innovation catalyst for our marketing analytics organization. This role goes beyond traditional data engineering-operating as a cross-functional "data engineering SWAT team" to rapidly assess marketing data challenges, architect scalable data solutions, and deliver end-to-end pipelines that power advanced analytics, segmentation, and campaign measurement. The ideal candidate will partner closely with marketing, analytics, and data science teams to transform fragmented data into trusted, production-ready assets that drive measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate is a true "Jack of all trades" across the data lifecycle-equally comfortable designing data models, building ETL pipelines, developing tools, creating dashboards, and performing advanced analytics. They are comfortable working in ambiguous, unstructured environments and proactively identify opportunities to deliver value ahead of formally defined requirements.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week., * Architect and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions spanning data engineering, modeling, visualization, and advanced analysis
- Translate loosely defined business problems into technical designs and actionable solutions
- Apply systems thinking to connect data across domains and uncover insights that drive decision-making
- Serve as internal analytics "SWAT team" for complex, undefined, or emerging business challenges
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated workflows
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and optimized queries
- Integrate and unify disparate data sources across the analytics ecosystem
- Build application code and tooling to support analytics workflows and interfaces
- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine solutions in a nimble development environment
- Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Enable self-service analytics and actionable insights for business users
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and prioritize analytics initiatives
- Translate marketing requirements into scalable data solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Advocate for marketing data needs during platform implementations to ensure accessibility and integration
- Operate with high autonomy, ownership, and initiative
- Adapt quickly to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs
- Identify inefficiencies and proactively design innovative solutions
- Apply structured, analytical thinking to solve complex problems

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in development/technical experience preferably in Analytics or data warehousing project environment
- 3+ years of experience in SQL Server development (developing stored procedures, modeling, T-SQL query development, etc.)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering multiple projects across different technologies
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI or Tableau
- 1+ years of experience with SSIS
- 1+ years of experience with Python or C#/.Net
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in unstructured, informal software development environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud based technology experience (Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)
- Experience developing AI solutions
- Results driven mindset in a constantly changing environment

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
