Job description
Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Solutions Architect SME at GDIT. Here, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation., As a Solutions Architect SME, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to Intelligence and Homeland Security (IHS) Division. You will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing innovative approaches to deliver software solutions to our customers. You will lead and participate in Research and Development activities, work across our division to understand program performance and objectives, and collaborate across GDIT to find innovative solutions for our customers' missions.

Represent IHS for IR&D projects and work across the division to implement best practices for more efficient and effective software engineering

Collaborate with programs to introduce innovation and alleviate program challenges

Drive innovation into new and existing programs

Utilize modern technologies, tools, and approaches to define innovative solutions for software engineering
Requirements
Agile Software Development,Emerging Technologies,Innovation,Software Solutions,Solution Architecture, 15 + years of related experience, Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Solutions Architect must have:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Experience: 15+ years of related experience, including delivering software solutions in restricted spaces

Technical skills: Agile development, DevSecOps pipeline development, Software factory experience, Low-code and no-code development, Python, C/C++, Java, or similar languages

Security clearance level: TS/SCI required at time of hire, with an active Poly clearance strongly preferred.

Benefits & conditions
The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
