Job description

  • Own end-to-end SAP S/4HANA production support and service delivery across all regions.
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability aligned with business SLAs.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize business disruptions.
  • Establish and run a 24x7 global support model with clear escalation paths.
  1. Business Continuity & Stability
  • Ensure robust hypercare, release management, and transport governance processes.
  • Drive risk mitigation strategies for production deployments (e.g., major releases, go-lives).
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for SAP systems.
  • Lead command centers during critical events and go-live periods.
  1. Vendor & AMS Management
  • Manage global Application Management Services (AMS) partners and vendors.
  • Define and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Drive vendor performance through governance frameworks and regular reviews.
  • Optimize cost and improve service quality through strategic vendor management.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner closely with business leaders, IT leadership, and functional teams to align priorities.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for SAP production support.
  • Communicate system performance, risks, and improvements to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure business satisfaction and alignment with IT service delivery.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
  • Drive automation, AI/ML-based monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Implement best practices in ITIL service management.
  • Lead initiatives to improve system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Support ongoing S/4HANA enhancements, upgrades, and innovation programs.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing global SAP support organization.
  • Foster strong collaboration across onshore/offshore teams.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure proper resource planning and skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 15 plus years of experience in IT Service Delivery or Technology Delivery, * 12 plus years of SAP Implementations and or SAP Service Delivery
  • 5 years of managing large SAP Service Delivery
  • 5 years of managing large global teams of 50+ people

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 5 plus years of experience in Manufacturing Industry
  • 3 years of experience in Healthcare or Medtech Industry
  • Skills include Service Delivery, IT Operations , Business Stakeholders Management

Benefits & conditions

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $246,800 - $339,350, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
