Job description
The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for design, build, and scale solutions across Salesforce CRM , Financial Services Cloud (FSC) , and Marketing related applications . This role will also be involved in data migrations, systems integrations, and third-party applications, such as nCino. This role plays a pivotal role in enhancing and supporting development efforts of various applications within the Salesforce platform., + Works closely with the Salesforce/nCino administrators, Business Analysts, Marketing team and platform users to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.

Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions.

Maintain data connections between Sales/Service Cloud and Marketing applications, such as Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, etc. (Core CRM objects sync, Synchronized Data Sources, Data Extensions, Contact Builder).

Provides technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.

Meets with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participates in application design, configuration, testing and deployment.

Conducts requirement analysis, documents technical specifications, and writes, reviews, and debugs code.

Creates demos, proof of concept and solution wireframe.

Seeks out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and recommends actions to support rapid organizational scaling.

Recommends product revisions or enhancements based on user feedback.

Provides technical assistance, end user support and documentation.

Stays abreast of Salesforce FSC, CRM, nCino and Marketing technologies as well as best practices.

Supports deployments and release management using CI/CD tools and Salesforce DevOps processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.

Salesforce certification, preferred.
-
2+ years of proven technical experience in Salesforce/Force.com development.

FIS or FServe Financial system background, preferred.

Technical knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other similar cloud-based solutions like Oracle, SAP, Dynamics.

Hands-on expertise with Financial Services Cloud (FSC data model & features) and Salesforce CRM core (Apex, LWC, Flows, Integration), preferred.

Direct work experience related to development, configuration and testing with financial data, reporting and Fintech vendor services.

Proficiency with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), integration design, and common middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) or ETL tools.

Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps or AutoRABIT.

Knowledgeable of Agentforce and AI tools.

Practical experience with creating Salesforce reports and dashboards.

Strong understanding of agile concepts and willingness to support ITIL processes.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Self-starter with willingness to learn new technologies.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

Compensation & Benefits:
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
The salary range for this position is between $86,000 to $107,000 + incentive

Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
